Description
the goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, nature, vegetation, childbirth, care of children, and chastity. In later times, in some places, she was identified with Selene, the personification of the Moon. Like all the Greek Olympic gods, Artemis was immortal and very powerful. Her special powers included perfect aim with the bow and arrow, the ability to turn herself and others into animals, healing, disease, and control of nature. An Artemis woman has a strong urge to follow her own intuition. She is brave and wild and represents the independent woman who does what she believes in, no matter how those around her (society!) react to her behavior.
