War is Not Healthy is based on a poster created by Lorraine Schneider in response to the outcry over the Vietnam War. The artistsâ intention was to purposely give it the appearance that a child had created it. This unique style created one of the most iconic anti-war posters of all time that was a common sight in dorm rooms and on protest signs throughout the Vietnam era and beyond.
